Hi, I’m Shannon.

My story might sound familiar…

I spent my life chasing “success” as it was described to me as child - i.e. being healthy (looking), joining the corporate world and climbing that ladder, making more money, etc.

After college I spent the better part of 20 years in corporate America “succeeding,” climbing that ladder and reaching leadership roles.

I found myself staying in jobs where I was undervalued and working long hours, because I felt stuck and unmotivated.

During that time I battled burnout caused by massive amounts of stress, which led me to adrenal fatigue and a variety of sleep and digestive issues as well.

After I had my daughter, things got EVEN HARDER. I was back in my job 8 weeks after her birth, but struggling with postpartum anxiety and hormone levels so out of whack that my cycle became increasingly painful and sleep was elusive. Finally, I was losing DAYS each month to debilitating pain.

After getting no answers or guidance from healthcare professionals (my doctors and resources), I took matters into my own hands. I researched, learned about my hormones, experimented with cycle-syncing, learned about my metabolism, and then delved into a long-standing interest - traditional medicine.

I grew up with a skilled acupuncturist as a mother and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as my primary healthcare system. When I began seeing Ayurveda (translated it means “the science of life”) coming up in my research, I grabbed onto that spark of curiosity and followed it into a full Wellbeing Coach certification through the Chopra Institute, which provided certifications in Ayurvedic health, meditation and transformational coaching.

I learned to heal myself through the lifestyle principles of Ayurveda and energetic healing of TCM. I had been using tools like meditation for years, but learning and practicing Primordial Sound Meditation took what was an interest and made it into a true passion.

I’ve navigated the corporate world while healing myself and then redefined success for myself, deciding to make my professional life about helping others make the same aligned change.
